Hinckley, world leader of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon Church, LDS Church or "Mormonism"), was ordained and set apart as the 15th President of the Mormon Church on Sunday, March 12, 1995. President Hinckley passed away Sunday, January 27, 2008 and was mourned by millions of Mormons and non-Mormons around the world. He had earlier served 14 years as a counselor in the First Presidency, the top governing body of the Mormon Church (Mormonism), and as a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of the LDS Church for 20 years prior to that. 2. Peyton Says:
I'd love the name of that Museum, truly I would. I wan't to know why there's so many versions of the bible, esp, if the ORIGINAL pages as you clame are in a museum, Oh please tell me otherwise YOUR ARGUMENT HAS NO LEG TO STAND ON!!!
  3. Laila Says:
By knowing and understanding what the bible has gone through until this very day it gives a clearer understanding as to what happened to the original church that Christ after he and many of his follwers were killed. Study up on the origins of the Bible. See how long it took until every book you have now in your Bile was compiled. You might learn something.
  4. THUC Says:
Look into it and you will understand why such a claim is made. Don't speculate.
  5. Blancheflour Says:
In a museum??? Oh my goodness? are you serious? You need to study up on the origins of the Bible and you will be surprised over how namy years what books were added and even taken away. Looks like you speculate more than you study.
  6. MacKenzie Says:
Ephesians 4:11 "And he agave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; "
  7. MOIBEAL Says:
"the bibles original pages can be seen in a museum " still waiting to hear about this museum. You have been deceived. I would demand that your Pastor give you your money back or at least a ride in his newest Mercedes!
  8. Azurine Says:
I'm not mormon but I have been to all different religion and I never see any of the priest come and visit our family or see what family need financially or whatever we need for our family, only mormon dat really take care of their members I mean everything. So, I ask myself is my Christian church true cuz we donate money to my Christian church but it seems like they can never help us members with anything. So dats why I'm alwayz respect all mormons no matter what.
  9. ADAIR Says:
why do you stand so hard that the church that has moved faster, done more, and acted more good than any other chruch on this earth that alone should be enough. "By there fruits shall ye know them"
  10. HANFORD Says:
The Bible's original pages? The letters that Paul himself wrote on? Which museum would that be in? There may be early manuscripts available, but there are also early manuscripts of the Book of Mormon! Mormons do pray and ask God for truth--that's why they join and stay in the Church!
  11. BATT Says:
ju look at the contrast between the book of mormon and the bible! the bibles original pages can be seen in a museum but the book of mormon original pages was written in gold and have now been taken up to heaven by god come on! i hope all mormons can pray and ask god for some truth and then leave the church. couse it brings only lies to our world!!
  12. Taweel Says:
    We believe in the Bible
  13. Redd Says:
So does that mean you don't believe in the bible either??? Or do you need to see a burning bush????
  14. BHRUIC Says:
Just happended to catch your comment...your theory is analgous to the idea that unless I see a burning bush (as Moses did), I will not believe in the 10 commandments.
  15. Hecate Says:
such false logic. did any angel come down and reveal that christianity is true? or did a buddhist angel come down and tell you buddhism is true? god is not going to send angels to everyone. the best way to prove the bible's validity is to say to yourself "i'm going to wait for matthew and luke to come down and tell me it's true? NO!it's by reading it, and living it and seeing the fruits that it produces and the holy ghost.
  16. Santiago Says:
Though God may send heavenly messengers in unique circumstances (many examples in the Bible), this is not typically how God communicates with men. Jesus taught "But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance..." (John 14:26). Through the Holy Ghost, we can personally find out if the Book of Mormon is the word of God; the same applies for all other truths.
  17. Clyfland Says:
That was very welll put together. Thank you.
  18. Marvella Says:
And you Did a Great Job!!! Thanks!

  20. Odale Says:

  21. CAMELIA Says:
There hasn't been any formal announcement yet...probably sometime this week. If history repeats itself, President Monson will likely be called.
  22. Verel Says:
O.K ,I am not Molly Mormon so who is the new prophet? My hubby was sick today and I cannot drive the truck. I know his wife was glad to have him come home to her.
  23. EMMANUELLE Says:
I love you, dear shepherd and President of our Church. My heart breaks, yes I know we'll all be together again if we are worthy.
  24. Edita Says:
Thank you..this helps so much while we are all feeling his loss and also glad he can be with his cherished wife.
