August 1992 A remarkable report filmed during the Bosnian coflict. We travelled with a convoy over the mountains to besieged Sarajevo in war-torn Bosnia to film UN peacekeeping forces moving in to secure the runway at Sarajevo airport, inside Serbian territory. On the outskirts of Sarajevo, where families survive on little more than nettle soup, ordinary people say they need someone who will make peace - not keep the peace. A Bosnian Croat major tells of how small groups of fighters are verging on banditry. Meanwhile Serb artillery shells pound the suburb of Dobrinja. A damaged mosque illustrates the conflict. Includes footage of the airport under siege.

June 2003 Everyone remembers the harrowing footage of the Srebrenica massacre shot by Zoran Petrovic, the only cameraman to capture the events on film. But this week's fascinating documentary shows that the very worst of his pictures never reached our TV screens. Key scenes from Petrovic's rushes were 'lost' or blacked over, presumably to prevent reprisals. We unearth the lost images, and the completed jigsaw is even more heinous than the already blood-spattered picture. Amazingly, Petrovic has never been interviewed by the War Crimes Tribunal about what he saw. For the first time, his incriminating material is available for scrutiny.

Presenting the newest production from The Jed Report ( http://www.jedreport.com ) -- Bosnia and Back Again, the story of Senator Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign. AMERICAblog declares it is "the most spectacular display of sniper fire since Tuzla." Senator Clinton plays herself in a performance The Field calls "a paid political ad for John McCain." Senator Clinton's performance was made possible by MasterSitsu, a member of the Daily Kos community who tracked down the footage of Senator Clinton in 1992 and Carthage who tracked down the cookies and tea footage. Good work all!

UNDP Montenegro is coordinating implementation of a 3-year $15 million Western Balkans Environmental Hot Spots Programme, which is the biggest regional programme UNDP has committed to in the South Eastern Europe to date. The main goal of the Programme, funded by the Government of the Netherlands is to achieve improvement of environmental situation and quality of life for citizens through the least-cost measures, improved local and national policy dialogue and the supply of domestic professional services in the environmental management sector. While the main focus will be the physical works needed to mitigate the ecological problems, the institutional strengthening and capacity building in the Western Balkans countries to address environmental problems through regional co-operation will be an important subject addressed by the programme This Programme includes six countries/territories in the Region (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, FYR Macedonia, Montenegro, Kosovo-UN administered territory under UN Security Council Resolution SB 1244 and Serbia).
